AFGHAN PREMIER LEAGUE
Roshan Afghan Premier League (RAPL), Afghanistan's first professional football league, was established in 2012 by the Afghan Football Federation, the first Asian football federation to be admitted to FIFA (in 1948), and the MOBY GROUP, Afghanistan's largest media conglomerate. Roshan, Afghanistan's leading total communications provider has been the League’s title sponsor since inception. All playing rules and regulations are in accordance with those set forth by FIFA and the AFC. The RAPL organizes provincial and regional selection tournaments throughout Afghanistan every year to ensure young men across the country have an opportunity to follow their football dreams, and also stages annually the country’s first women’s football tournament broadcast live on TV. All RAPL matches are broadcast LIVE on TOLO TV and Lemar TV, as well on radio stations Arman FM and Arakozia FM. The matches are also available via cable TV, and online.
